P-Square finally falls apart
Peter Okoye, one of the twin singing sensations, P-Square, has reportedly sent a termination letter to their lawyer, Festus Keyamo, demanding a termination of the partnership agreement between the duo.
The music duo P-Square’s Peter and Paul Okoye finally split on Sunday after years of dominating the Nigerian music scene.
In the letter obtained by Linda Ikeji’s Blog, LIB, Peter made some allegations against his twin, Paul and older brother/group manager, Jude.
Speaking to LIB, Peter confirmed the sad development, saying; “Psquare is no more. I have nothing against my brothers. I saw Paul’s post on Instagram about blood being thicker than water.”
“Who is water and who is blood?” Peter asked, adding that his nuclear family (wife and kids) are very important to him and he has decided to move on with his personal brand – Mr P.
According to Peter, Paul is no longer willing to co-operate with him, even going as far as cancelling their planned U.S. tour this year without informing him, and he (Peter) has exhausted all options to make it work.
He also accused Paul of slandering his wife and children with lies on social media and alleged that they have now been”receiving threatening messages.”
Prominent Lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Festus Keyamo, who represents the Okoye brothers has said the wives of the artistes have no hand in their crisis.
According to the lawyer, the quarrel was not the fault of any of the parties – including their wives as expressed by social media pundits.
He expressed the optimism that the disagreement among them – including the elder brother, Jude – would be resolved.
The statement also appealed that the public should “refrain from jumping into uninformed conclusions about this feud.”

Tsvangirai battling 4 his life
MDC president Morgan Tsvangirai, battling for his life, and was urgently flown to South Africa on Friday night after his health condition deteriorated.
Tsvangirai had been addressing a party meeting in Kodama when he allegedly started experiencing severe vomiting, prompting his doctor to have him transported to South Africa.
The MDC says its leader has brushed aside his health scare to encourage Zimbabweans to register to vote in the coming elections.
As the election draws closer Chamisa, whom Tsvangirai catapulted to the position of vice-president last year, could capitalize the situation and be a front-runner to take over from his boss.
“There are calls within the party and among our supporters that Tsvangirai should stay at home, rest and relax because the extra work he is doing is taking a heavy toll on his health. The emergency which saw him being airlifted to South Africa left the party in panic,” the source said.

Mother and son chosen to live on a high street bench for three years
A Somali mother and son were evicted from their flat in Tooting, London, in 2014 for not paying their rent
Since then, the pair have been living on a bench on the busy Tooting High Street and sleep under tarpaulin. The council tried to rehome them but they turned down two-bedroom flats, which usually cost £1,500 a month. They chose to remain on the bench despite final pleas from their family and members of the local Somali community.
The mother and son have been homeless since December 2014 when they were evicted from the flat they shared in Tooting. It is thought a death in the family and a period of hospitalisation led to them living on the streets.

Sign petition in support of Martha Ngosi
The Canadian government have issued a deportation note for Martha Ngosi. Shes due to be flown on the 16th of September so we appeal to all communites to sign Martha petition. Please sign the petition, and ask the Honourable Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Ralph Goodale, to cancel my September 16 deportationhttps://www.change.org/p/honourable-minister-ralph-goodale-honourable-minister-goodale-stop-martha-s-deportation?recruiter=739255900&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=tap_basic_share
My name is Martha Ngosi. I am a 72 year old woman and I am currently scheduled to be deported back to Zimbabwe on September 16. I am terrified at the thought of being deported. I have not been to Zimbabwe since I left in 1999, so I have nowhere to live there, and my Doctors in Canada are worried that if I am deported, my health will deteriorate and I could get very sick or even die. There are many reasons why deporting me to Zimbabwe will put my health at risk;
1) In Zimbabwe, there are often shortages of vital medication, so I do not think that I will be able to get any of the medications that I currently take to regulate my blood pressure and leg swelling, manage my vertigo, and prevent my osteoporosis from getting worse. My Doctors have told me that without my medication, I could get very sick and I might even die.
2) If I am deported I will also not be able to have regular visits with a Doctor. In Canada, I need to see my family Doctor frequently to monitor and manage my Hypertension, Venous Insufficiency, Cervical Radiculopathy, Vertigo, Gallstones, Osteoporosis, and Dyslipidemia.
3) In Zimbabwe, the Hospitals are often closed because there is no medicine or there is no Doctor available. Because of Zimbabwe's frequent hospital closures, if I were to have a medical emergency in Zimbabwe, I would likely not be able to access emergency medical treatment or surgery. This is very worrisome to me, because my Doctors have told me that I will eventually need surgery for my Gallstones, and if my Hypertension is not managed, I could have a heart attack or stroke. If these things were to happen, or if I were to have any other type of medical emergency (which could happen at my age...) I would not be able to get emergency care.
I know all of this from first-hand experience; my husband died in Zimbabwe in 2015 because he could not get the medical care that he needed.
I left Zimbabwe in 1999, and I have not returned since. Like many others, I lived in the United States without immigration status for many years, because there was no way for me to apply for permanent status. Then when Donald Trump was elected, I was afraid I would be deported so I came to Canada seeking refuge. I now live in Hamilton Ontario with my brother, and I love it here. After living without immigration status in the United States for 17 years, I finally feel like I have a home. I love Canada, and I want to live the rest of my days here.
I have applied for permanent residence in Canada, but the Canada Border Services Agency is trying to deport me while my permanent residence application is in process. I beg you to please sign my petition, so that the Canada Border Services Agency will not deport me, and I will be allowed to stay in Canada while my permanent residence application is finalized. I have not broken any of Canada's laws while I have lived here, and if I am allowed to stay in this country I will do my best to be a model citizen, and contribute to this country the best that I can.
If I am deported to Zimbabwe, I do not even know where I will live or how I will support myself. At my age, I will not be able to get a job and support myself financially. I am afraid that I will have to live on the street. I cannot imagine returning to Zimbabwe. I have been gone for so long, it simply is not my home anymore. I feel like Canada is my home, and I want to live here more than anything in the world.
Thank you very much for reading my story. Please sign my petition, and ask Ralph Goodale, the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, to intervene and tell the Canada Border Services Agency to cancel my deportation date, so that I am not deported back to Zimbabwe on September 16.
Thank you very much for your time.
Sincerely,
Martha

North Korea nuclear testing
This file handout picture from the French space agency CNES, Airbus Defense and Space and the 38 North analysis group, shows a satellite image taken on April 12 of North Korea's Punggye-ri nuclear test site. Picture: AFP
NORTH Korea’s provocative nuclear testing may not necessarily lead to war. But there may be another catastrophic risk: the mountain beneath which it has exploded six bombs may be on the point of collapse.
Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post is quoting a Chinese scientist as saying if the peak crumbles, clouds of radioactive dust and gas will blanket the region.
At the heart of the fears is the Punggye-ri test site in the rogue-nation’s northeast.
It’s carved deep into the side of Mount Mantap.
This is a nondescript granite peak in the remote and heavily forested Hamgyong mountain range about 80km from Chongjin, the nearest big city.
Zimbabwean women in London Grenfell Tower Scandal
Zimbabwean Woman, Joyce Msokeri 46, 'stayed at Hilton hotel as part of £10,000 help from Grenfell survivors fund after lying that her husband had been killed in tower block blaze and her child was fighting for life' she apprered at Westminster Magistrates Court on yesterday morning

She did not enter a plea and a judge remanded her in custody for her own safety to appear at Southwark Crown Court on October 3.

Msokeri indicated not guilty pleas to the charges.
Brian Dogged deportation to Zimbabwe
Last week Wolverhampton community was shocked to find out that Brian was being denied the opportunity to study at Oxford University and facing deportation to Zimbabwe. But people power saved him
Brian was abandoned in Zimbabwe until he was six. He was looked after by a British family and then, at the age of 15, the UK became his home. Only when Brian made his university application, did he discover that he wasn’t granted the correct status by the Home Office.
We all watched him graft hard for the 3 A*s and an A that earned him the place on Oxford’s renowned chemistry course. But mostly, we watched him each day, for years, work hard simply to help those around him. To deny Brian his right to live in the UK over an error that wasn’t his fault seemed so unjust.
Luke Wilcox petition helped Brian remain in the UK. Wilcox in his statement states that,For people in Brian’s shoes, it’s difficult to speak-up. Brian wouldn’t want to cause a fuss. But knowing that my friend could lose everything, and that I could lose my friend, I started this petitionon Change.org in hope that the Home Office would pay attention and see that this decision was wrong. What happened next, was incredible.

Re-election 4 Kenya
Nairobi - Kenya's Supreme Court has overturned the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta, citing irregularities in last month's election. The court has called for a new election within 60 days.
Opposition candidate Raila Odinga had claimed that the electronic voting results were hacked into and manipulated in favor of Kenyatta, who won a second term with 54 percent of the vote.
Kenyans had been braced for another round of protests if the court upholds Kenyatta's victory.
Odinga had unsuccessfully challenged the results of the 2013 vote.
